How we combat bias
Machine learning can pick up human hiring biases from the dataset, leading to biased outcomes. To prevent this, at VanillaHR we use a clean dataset with real candidates assessed by real employers.

We monitor manual grading to ensure data integrity. If manually graded responses show a clear bias towards the mention of certain keywords we can detect that the drop in score and flag it whilst removing it from our learning.
